NAVAPASHANAM
Navapashanam is the divine cosmic amalgamation end result of mixing nine poisons. As the name itself suggests, nava means nine and pashanam means poison. NAVAPASHANAM
The navapashanam in its original form is reddish brown in colour but it can be made in black and green varieties too mixing the appropriate poisons blend in a proportionate manner. The idol at palani is a black blend of the navapashanam. Navapashanam can be made in wax form or solid form. It is preferred to make it as solid form so that it lasts forever and the benefits can be derived accordingly. In the wax form you can literally starch the idol and eat the navapashanam.
